AMS has on-hand inventory which means we can make same day deliveries. We have over 50 years of experience within the Electronics Distribution Industry, strategic relationships with many franchised distributors, and we’ve developed personal relationships with manufacturer representatives.

AMS has the ability to buy the parts you require. We support prototype kitting for bills of material and have several kitting solutions in place with our strategic customers. We offer full bonded inventory programs, including kanban, consignment, and auto replenishment solutions.

AMS is part of an Independent Electronics Distributor of Electronic Components and Semiconductors group. This group enables us to obtain hard to find parts. Our group has stock on thousands of devices in addition to a network of Global Inventory and Industry contacts. The group’s State-of-the-Art website and search engine will quickly search inventory and the Domestic/International suppliers inventory in a timely manner. AMS customers will also have access to the excess inventory that our group has either purchased, or has on consignment with their business partners.

Contract Manufacturing Services

AMS is an authorized sales representative for one of, if not, the largest contract manufacturers within the Southwest Region. AMS has relationships with many Contract Manufacturers and can find the best fit for your requirements. We have over 50 years experience in managing production of board assembly.

We take your board assembly and make it our board assembly. Your required due date becomes our required due date. We make sure that your board is built to the current board assembly level and that all manufacturing requirements are executed.

Our Contract Manufacturers provide Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and partner with OEMs to help assemble, integrate and test subsystems, and electronic parts. We can also provide complementary value-based services such as engineering services, subsystems assembly, distribution and repair — first in the US, and optionally transition to China when the volume reaches an optimum threshold.

AMS offers quick turn prototype assembly and can help with lead-time reduction programs such as: bonded inventory, forecast agreement, pre-build, JIT system, and capacity planning. We are trained to work with engineering departments to help specify custom engineered interconnect systems to lower your costs, reduce lead times, and improve quality.
We can help with Engineering support on cables and boards as required. If we cannot help you then we have local partners that can. From the idea, to full design AMS is here to help.

We follow the same processes day in and day out. Every job is QC inspected to ensure that our quality meets your requirements. Our skilled manufacturing team has worked together for over 10 years; this tenure allows our work to exceed your expectations.

We notify our customers of any changes that can be implemented in order to make the assembly more efficient. Our company process has been used for years, which enables us to build your product with the highest level of quality every day, and every time we touch your assembly.

Review of your quality requirements is a must at the start of each new assembly, and specific work order Instructions are implemented with each job. A first article, and drawing are required for every assembly and a digital picture is kept on file.

We work hard to implement process improvement methods and our quality control team undergoes continuing education on inspection standards to ensure the qualifications of our entire staff. From engineers to technicians; we implement standardized training in ESD, safety and on-the-job performance according to IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620A standards.

We understand the importance of a lead-free product and ROHS and we are working directly with our suppliers to ensure that your assemblies meet ROHS standards.

Every cable assembly is 100% tested and inspected for quality. We utilize testing equipment from Cirris Systems when possible. We also use fluke meters and 100% pull tests. The extra time spent within our experienced Quality Department allows AMS to achieve the highest possible quality standards possible.
